Sherry Thomas September 9,1942 - February 5, 202
Mother and Grandmother Sherry Thomas passed away unexpectedly on February 5th, 2024 in Abilene, Texas. She was 81 years old. Sherry was born on September 9th, 1942 to Peggy (Bebe) Beatrice Uselton in Paris, Texas. She spent her life in many areas, such as Lubbock, Dallas, Lindale and Stamford. She spent many years as a cross country truck driver. Sherry’s life was filled with lots of advtures as she was a mom to five children Teresa, James, Gina, John and Peggy. She was grandmother to five grandchildren- Michelle, Audrea,
DeJon, Shelby and Danielle, and great grandmother to numerous great-grandchildren. She loved her family greatly and made sure she was active in all parts of their lives. She was her children and grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader. There was nothing they couldn’t do. Sherry joined her eternal home and was met by her mother, Peggy Uselton, and chil- dren James and Gina. She is survived by her children Teresa Uselton of Grapevine, John Gunter of Haskell, Peggy and Wayne Hyer of Haskell as well as her grandchildren, Michelle and Len E. Lenard of Waco, Audrea Mata of Lubbock, DeJon Uselton of Grapevine, Shel- by Cruz of Lubbock, and Danielle and Joshua Totherow Forney. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren- Alyssa, Ashton, Tegan, Mae-Lynn, Keaton, Wyatt, Talon, Landry, Mia and Cal-Lynn and great-great grandchild Miles.
